Tumbler Holder for a Sweet Young Lady
There is a sweet young lady in town who requested me to crochet her a tumbler holder. I've delayed this request so long due to my busy schedule. Finally I got it done. I hope she is not made at me and that she will like it.
I like the colours too. It's as sweet as you, Whemay!
Multi-purpose little pouch
While I completed Amber's sling pouch, I went on with another project. I crocheted another similar pouch, shorter but wider and without the shoulder sling. This pouch / case can be used to contain your tissue packs or lipsticks, or compact powder, or anything other stuff that can be fitted into.
size : 75mm (H) x 55mm (W) x 25mm (D)

(colour combinations are customisable)

Amber's Ipod Touch Sling Pouch
3 days ago, we had a family karaoke outing. My 7-year-old niece, Amber greeted me as she came in to the room :
"Hi E-ma"
"Hi Amber, how are you?" and gave her a hug.
"Where is the pouch you promised me last month?" She stares at me.
Opps, opps, opps!!! Totally slipped my mind that I promised her the last time we met. Must be the age factor.
"SORRY Amber! I forgot! I'll make sure I get it done as soon as possible."
"Remember!" Amber said and she went playing with the rest. Phew!
Came home and I immediately started with my long overdue promise. Yesterday I got it done! Amber is away for holiday with her family. Will give it to her when she comes back. I sent a picture message to her mom's phone though, hopefully she'll like it.

Handphone Pouch
When I started this handphone pouch, I don't have a specific pattern in mind. Infact quite like "just go along and see". So I did some patterns, didn't like it, and I dismantled it, re-do it with another pattern. No, not nice, let's redo.
And I was sitting in front of the TV, half watching a programme on History Channel (I think), and I tried another stitch pattern for one whole around... ok, looks good, so I continued to crochet and change colour as I went along. So finally I completed this. What do you think?
What can you do with a tissue pack holder?
Have to admit my recent craze for crocheting tissue pack holders! Well, I thought I'd like to make 2 more for my other sister, Terrynz and my sister-in-law, Ailing.
Right, start making and giving. Giving gifts is a nice feeling, just that sometimes, we do not know if the gifts fits the recipient or are useful stuff to them? It's kind of a dilemma to me every time when I need to choose something for someone. I believe most people will encounter these feelings.
Well, well, well, you know what? Terrynz used it to cover her iphone!
Another Tissue Pack Holder
Here it is, the 'made to order, by specific colours' tissue pack holder I made. The stitches turned out quite unique, just a little 'bulky', I felt. Hope Mel likes it !
Water Tumbler Holder
"Mom"
"Yeah?"
"What are you making this time"
"Headbands"
"When are you gonna crochet something for me?"
"What would you like, if mom make something for you, J?"
"Emm, I think I want a holder for my school tumbler so that I can sling it over my shoulder?"
"Sure? What colour do you think you'll like?"
"May be black, grey, may be blue..."
"You think about it and let me know?"
"Ah, I've decided, I want grey, can?"
"Right, give mommy some time, I'll get it done for you."
~~~~~~~~~~~~ A week later ~~~~~~~~~~~~
"Wow! Thanks mom! You are the greatest!"
" :)"
"I'm gonna bring it to school tomorrow! - Thanks!"
"I'm glad you like it"
"No, I don't like it, I absolutely LOVE IT!"
" Thanks J! I'm glad you do"
~~~~~~~~~~~~~ 2 days after that ~~~~~~~~~~~~~
"Mom"
"Yeah?"
"My friends said its nice and asked where I bought it?"
"So, what did you tell them"
"I told them my mom made it for me!"
"Mom, would you make and sell to my friends?"
"Well......"
"How much, mom?"
"........................"
Tissue Packs Holders
Made these tissue packs cover/holders which I personally love it. Sweet and feminine. Make nice gifts.
Then I found a ball of baby blue yarn and another one which has a silver thread to it. I mixed both the yarns and wanted to make another tissue holder but ended up with a purse-like holder like this :
Can be used as tissue pack cover/holders, oil blotting papers/tissues, cards, etc.
Mother's Day presents
My little handmade presents for both my mom and my mom-in-law, on Mom's Day. Both my mommies always carry their own drinks when they go out. So, I think this will be something useful for them.
When Jeremy saw them, he said he wanted one for himself, with a much longer handle so that he can sling across his shoulder. Now, my 'order' started coming in., :D. So I bought him to buy some mid-night grey yarn and will start making his soon. But now, I've got some other projects in hand. Will share here in a few days.
A handphone pouch gone wrong
This is what happened when I do things without planning and follows my instinct as I go along, without thinking. I was too eager to complete it.
It's supposed to be my handphone pouch (you see my name on it). But it was too long. When I slide my phone in, it went so deep that I can't see it. Yet, at this point, I'm just too lazy to take out and redo. Shaunie suggested that may be I can use it to keep my crochet hooks. But it was also not so fitted.
So, with all the "I should have this" and "I should have that" - this pouch will be kept aside for a while - one of these days, I'll do something about it.
