Simple headband

Most of the time when I run, the fringe of my hair just sweeps over my face, and it is not so comfortable at times. (imagine your car wiper blade cleaning your windscreen!)  Usually I push it back and behind my ears.  It drops back out sometimes.

So, while I was running, I thought of making myself a headband to counter this minor issue.  Thinking, thinking and I got an idea!  The night itself, I did this very very simple band that uses the solomon's knot or love knot.

The pattern:

Chain 1, Crochet 8 knots, turn, work back with a sc at the 4th knot from the hook, crochet 2 more knots, sc at the 6th knot, crochet another 2 knots, sc at the 8th knot.

Next row - crochet 3 knots, sc at the next knot, crochet 2 knots, sc at the next knot, crochet another 2 knots, sc at the end knot, turn and repeat.  Continue until the length you require (that fits the circumference of your head).  I do the very traditional way - by estimating and putting the band onto my head and measure and continue until it fits.

Complete the last row of the knots, line together with the beginning row/edge and sc the 2 edges together.  Slip stitch and finish off.  You got it.

I hope this is helpful if you would like to try making one yourself.  I have also include the following links for your reference:
